RIDESHARE jazz is all about the VIBES, both the Vibes they play and the vibes they create interacting onstage!
With Dan on Keyboards (Piano & Hammond XK-4 Organ), Audrey starts on Flute, moving seamlessly to piano when Dan takes a ride on Vibes or Melodica.
Improvisations fueled by the energy of each other, the music, and the audience take you on a one-of-a kind jazz journey.
From Be-Bop to Bossa Nova, through Blues, Fusion, Funk, and Originals, their cool sound is a road trip inviting you to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
Influences: Herbie Mann, Cal Tjader, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Lionel Hampton, Sergio Mendes, Miles Davis.
RIDESHARE has played restaurants, jazz clubs, private parties, and festivals from coast to coast.
They love their hometown of Laguna Beach, but are free to travel wherever the music takes them!
Instrumentation
Our instrumentation can adapt to meet your needs.
Electric piano and organ (stacked) and flute, with two small amps is our basic setup for smaller venues.
With a little more space we can add vibes (still as a duo).
Our trio setup, with full PA, is flute, electric piano and organ, vibes, and a percussionist.
